Hello all,
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post. If so, please redirect me to the right place.
I'm trying very hard to find an original Nokia N86 to buy. Maybe its impossible to find a new one, but maybe a refurbished one. Anyone knows where I could find one?
I tried Amazon and Ebay, but the one I found looks like a clone, since it comes from Hong Kong.
Heres the link: http://www.amazon.com/Nokia-Indigo-Unlocked-Cellphone-Camera/dp/B002ECZ0C0/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1377528071&sr=1-1&keywords=nokia+n86
Thanks in advance.

maybe this one?

Thanks for the info, but that item ships from HK too, so I'm not sure it isn't a clone.
I guess I'm 4 years late to get an original one...haha

The guy has 98% positive feedback, I guess you could send him/her a message and ask for a video or more pictures?
-
I'll try. Thanks for the info.
But anyway, there aren't ony other online stores who could have this model?
-
I don't know of any others myself
-
Yep... Everyone points me to either Amazon or Ebay.
Anyway, the seller respond my inquiry. He said he is selling original Nokia phone, and is an inventory item, not just release phone / model. But I'm still not sure. The phone doesn't come with any of his acessories (data cable, earphone, etc), only a charger and I really don't know if the price is what you should expect for an original one (aprox. US$ 109,00). I've seen clones that are more expensive...

Try $200+.
Used ones go for that price, though.
Try using http://www.google.com/shopping

So anything under $200 is a clone? I need to convince myself that should be impossible to find one in the conditions I want... :(
Anyway, I tried your suggestion (Google Shopping). It showed me some different links, but they all point to an item shipping from HK (except one). I sent a message to these sellers for more information. I'm waiting their answers. Thanks for your suggestion.

I received reply from two sellers. They both claimed to sell original new N86's phones with all the accessories, in the original box. Here are the links:
Scharter Store (Amazon)
http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B0034133CY/ref=dp_olp_0?ie=UTF8&condition=all
ElectronicsForce.com
http://www.electronicsforce.com/nokia-n86-gsm-unlocked-slider-no-contract-cellphone-w-wifi-and-p-56809.html
Any recomendation? Any of you people have buyed from these sellers?

i can not say that they look great. i prefer only buying a phone on Amazon through Amazon. However, go with sellers in the >90% range, mate.
i guess Scharter seems ok, but the name is a little off-putting.

I see. My main concern is to spend money on a clone. And the fact they are both shipping from HK makes me a little suspicious. Of course I know that almost all electronics comes from that area, but anyway I want an original. Even a used one in good condition would suffice, but I can't find any.
I'll keep searching. If anyone has any tips for me, please share ;)

Where do you live? The US Amazon.com had several used ones. i know that the Nokias from that era are regional, though. The radios did not support all bands the way they do now.
-
I live in South America. I'm tried to find used ones on US Amazon, but did not find one (or maybe I'm searching wrong).
For work here, the mobile must be unlocked and quadriband (the N96 is).

Look at the Global E-Depot listing. 95% positive feedback in 12 months by 76 buyers. That sounds pretty good and the phone is new for $179. Only thing is that it is white, though.

I'll look into it as soon as I get Internet access in my home again (I'm changing providers). I really don't care if its white, although I prefer the black colored. I just dont want to buy a clone.
