You do know this is your third post only  ???
What? So only people with >4 posts may be grateful for the support of S60?

Let's not give up. Now is the time to rise. Since there is no support from Nokia for symbian we can take it as our own. We can be independant. Grab this oppertunity continue the great work you did ;)

Be courageous ;)

First we need to make Symbian open source so that it will be easy to apply changes. Also the petition at change.org need to be sent to Nokia with the signatures signed as of now. Those who haven't signed please go here.

Maybe you can try to grab the symbian source from accenture by hacking into accenture computer server.I would expect only partial of source available only.

There are still estimated millions of symbian users but only 4000+ signature   :( .If i were nokia,i would even ignore the signature.Selling four thousand device won't even enough to pay their headquarter rent

Try zero. Accenture has never had any part of the Symbian source code. The arrangement is that if Nokia tells Acenture to do something, they give them only as much as they need to get it done... And we have all seen how much Nokia have had them do: create widget shortcuts.
They must have the source to do any important updates. That is why i say partial.I think nokia only give what only essential and needed to them

I'm sure there would be some license issues if they made it open source anyway.

i was under the impression those were all BetaLabs releases independent of Accenture weren't they?

i had a brief email conversation with a rep from Accenture and the gist was that Accenture was just a paper tiger and no real work was going to be done to Symbian.
