not sure about it, coz i too had problem flashing my n8 with 2012, and with 2011 it was a piece of cake for me. Btw many users reported they had problem flashing with 2012 version.

Sorry @anbaalie you mixtup me questions.I search for flashing not hacking me nokia 500.And YES i confirm that method regarding your link is ok.Need 3 minutes to apply and all your trouble regarding certificates its gone.
Now regarding flashing me nokia 500, i allready do it with the help of @EcoAlfa from another site.
His tutorial go like this:
FLASHING NOKIA 500
PS: be sure you have the latest nokia suite instaled and your cabel driver ok, connecting your phone on and off to your computer and checking from my computer>right>manage>device manager. The method bellow it is base on turn off phone and it is critical to have them phone drivers installed, without them your little experiment regarding the experience describted bellow will FAIL.I did it to experimentate with the phone on too and its working that way but it needs a clean pc and a quick procesor because it will stop severall times the cabel connections and needs to reconnect(automaticaly sure)and need to recognize that cabel drivers immediatly and most pc fail to recognize 7-8 reconnect in a roll into a short period if is not "fit" to hard and quick work.
For the first timers i recomand the phone off method!!!
Sorry for me bad english, hope that is no major guff in it and that me experience with @EcoAlfa tutorial will help others.

Firmwares Nokia Belle Refresh Classic Edition

If you do not like modified Firmware comprising hundreds of things you do not use and prefer more original, we will have a solution. This is the Nokia Belle Refresh Firmwares Classic Edition, which is the original Firmware newest version of Symbian Belle, with a great advantage:

Enable install all unsigned: So you can install applications that you want without getting that annoying error appears expired certificate and without the need for rare processes, so sign applications will be gone.

Besides that, the firmware is completely original, with no additional software, no custom themes, no extra features, no errors ... exactly the same as Nokia launches. With this firmware, you can still use all the features of your current phone and when the official version is 100% guaranteed.

DOWNLOAD(all download links are into a file in the attachaments):
> NOKIA 500 LTA (RM-750 | 02-09-2012)Nokia Belle Refresh v111.021.0028 Custom Latin Spanish, English and Portuguese.
> Phoenix Service Software 2012

Installing this firmware

The first and most important step is to perform a hard reset on your phone by dialing in call keypad * # 7370 # and will clear the internal memory avoiding making errors after flashing. Just as we recommend formatting your external memory either from a computer or from the Symbian file manager.

Install Phoenix Service Software 2012 on your computer
Unzip the CFW in the folder corresponding to the product phoenix Codes.

C:\Program Files\Nokia\Phoenix\Products

Open the Phoenix program and the toolbar select File> Open Product. Then in the box that appears to us we double click on our mobile MRI (Example NOKIA500 = RM-750)

Now in the Toolbar options appear to us more so we can select Flashing -> Firmware Update and in the box we click on the flashing button again to choose our RM double clicking. Then go to the OPTIONS button and continuing in the next step.

Select the file type is red Mem Card Content and we DELETE. This file belongs to preloaded content team, but is not used because it weighs more than 8GB would be really complicated and add the firmware file that size so you'll never find in any CFW. After that we get on OK until firmware update window.

Finally mark the box Dead Phone USB Flashing and we click on REFURBISH, we will see a message that indicates that taking the phone off should keep the power button pressed for 8 seconds and vibrate when we connect via USB to the computer and press the OK button .

The flashing process will begin and will last less than one minute after which appear in the output table already has completed 100% of the programming, then you have to wait your turn and enjoy your Symbian belle.

All credits go to @EcoAlfa with his help in 5 minutes i repair me phone.
