Is the New update of Symbian Belle only available for Nokia 700, 7001 not the other second generation Symbian mobile like C7 and N8?....

It's not available. Hope they soon release it for 1st generation s^3 devices.

Are you mentioning the Fp1 update..?? If so we can't use it to flash c7.

I am attempting to flash my N8 for the first time. Got Navifirm+1.7. Found the files for my product code. Here comes the 1. question: Should all files be downloaded? By default only some are marked. I did download all, just in case. The snapshot shows all the files which Navifirm downloaded. 2. question: Is the file marked red required, it's 4GB in size? It is not shown as mandatory but optional.
Got Phoenix 2012 and went through the tutorial steps. At step 11 there are no red files for me, only black. Is that ok, can I proceed? I don't want to continue until I get some confirmation.

You don't need download all the files. You can just download the files that get marked by default. Btw if you wish you download emc file and in case if you flash with that file you'll end losing date from your Mass Memory(E:).

Phoenix 2011 gets stuck when trying to change mode. I have an E6. I don't have Nokia Suite installed.

Remove phoenix, First install the latest nokia pc suite. Then disable your antivirus and then install the latest Phoenix.
